Colombia Viani
Tasting Notes
Description
The coffee is sourced primarily through Mr. Joseel Castiblanco’s collection centre near Quipile, who has been collecting for Racafe for over 20 years. Coffee cherry is either farm-processed or brought in wet to the centre if the quality meets standards. The typical processing schedule involves depulping on the day after picking, fermentation for 48 hours, then drying in a guardiola on site. Once a volume of 10,000–13,000 kg is gathered, a dedicated long-term transport partner trucks the lot to Racafe’s dry mill in Bogotá for final sorting, two rounds of cupping, bagging, and export. The wonderful quality of this coffee results in tasting notes of blood orange, malt & milk chocolate (think Malteasers!). *Although we make every attempt to have seasonal coffee available to order, occasionally some products are not available to ship immediately because we are in the process of hand-roasting them.* The roastery dispatch web orders via Royal Mail. All orders of a single 250g bag will be posted Second Class, orders with multiple bags will be posted First Class. For faster delivery please contact sales@alchemycoffee.co.uk
