PANAMA Geisha Lorayne (Special Christmas Edition)
Description
From the highlands of **Boquete**, in the province of **Chiriquí** (1,700 masl), this **Natural Geisha** is grown on **Finca Lorayne**, at 1,700 masl, on rich volcanic soils that bring complexity and elegance to the cup. The farm, founded in the 1950s by **Nicolás Rosas**, continues its family legacy today after four generations, combining tradition, precision, and a clear vision for quality. **Elia Lorayne Rosas**, a coffee grower, has continued the legacy of her grandfather and father. Her management is a benchmark of female leadership in Panama, combining tradition, innovation, and commitment to gender equity in coffee farming. In addition, she works closely with the indigenous Ngäbe Buglé workforce, fostering social development and sustainability. This lot is processed using the **natural method**, exclusively selecting ripe cherries during the months of February and March, when the sugar concentration is highest. Manual selection is key to preserving the aromatic cleanliness and enhancing the enzymatic profile characteristic of this Geisha. Controlled drying allows for deep integration of aromatic compounds without losing definition. The sensory profile is complex and elegant. In the cup, the coffee displays an intensely enzymatic, floral, and fruity fragrance. Notes of orange blossom, elderflower, violets, and chamomile stand out, accompanied by tropical fruits like strawberry and passion fruit, and a sweet citrus background of tangerine. The cake base provides balance, while the acidity is elegant and juicy, with a creamy body. An expressive, refined, and very aromatic Geisha. This coffee has been selected by NOKORA Specialty Coffee as a special Christmas edition and represents the second Geisha in our collection: a lot designed for special occasions, celebrations, and for those seeking a floral and complex sensory experience.
