Mamuto AA
Tasting Notes
Description
Mamuto Estate is a coffee growing estate that was established in 1955, a time when coffee farmers were only allowed to plant 100 coffee trees. Prolific coffee professional, George Howell, has a long-standing relationship with this factory and has played a massive role in the quality you taste in the cup. It is truly outstanding and a testament to the great work Mamuto is doing! The average annual production is 3,200Kg. Soils are red volcanic and well-drained; therefore, the climate is ideal for coffee production. This coffee is one of the most unique Kenyan coffees we have ever tasted and stands out alongside other washed Kenyan coffees. It is rare to find a coffee that is purely SL28 from Kenya, we are so excited to release this coffee and taste it! By far one of the highest quality Kenyans we have ever tasted. We tasted it alongside 400 other coffees in Kenya when we visited in early 2025, and it stood out against everything else we tasted. Freshly roasted beans make great coffee. Our coffees are roasted every week, nitrogen flushed and vacuum sealed. Enjoy delicious coffees at fair and transparent pricing, and delivered to your door in whole beans or ground to your preferred brewing method. We ship coffees nationwide, and orders above R699 are shipped for free.
