Finca Santa Elisa Pachup is a large, 506-hectare estate in the Acatenango region, located west of the active Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes. With 360 hectares planted with coffee (at an altitude of 1200–1700 masl), the farm is a vital income source for the town of San Pedro Yepocapa. This particular lot was processed by Los Volcanes Coffee at their Beneficio La Esperanza mill in Antigua. Extra care is taken during processing to thoroughly wash the cherries and remove the volcanic ash from nearby Volcán de Fuego, which can otherwise damage depulping machinery. The farm actively experiments with varieties, with Sarchimor, H1, and Tekisic being favorites for Los Volcanes. This beautiful coffee is a real easy-drinker – with tasting notes of peach, brown sugar and dark chocolate. *Although we make every attempt to have seasonal coffee available to order, occasionally some products are not available to ship immediately because we are in the process of hand-roasting them.* The roastery dispatch web orders via Royal Mail.
