Maragesha
Description
Our washed anaerobic Maragesha in a travel friendly format. Ten single serve drip bags with clean florals, bright sweetness, and the clarity this variety is known for. Just add hot water. MARAGESHA Maragesha is a rare hybrid of Maragogipe and Gesha, grown and produced by Wilder Lazo in Huila, Colombia. Wilder Lazo’s family, a passionate group of coffee producers in San Adolfo, Huila, has faced countless challenges over the years in their pursuit of excellence. One of the toughest moments came when a devastating fire forced them to leave their farm. But their father's determination never wavered, and they returned to rebuild not just their crops, but their entire way of life. RECOMMENDED RECIPE This lot is a washed anaerobic process, creating a bright, complex profile with high florality, juicy acidity and layered sweetness. Profile Jasmin | bergamot | peach | honey Brew guide | 200 ml Tear open and hang over the cup Pour 40 ml hot water at 93°C to bloom Wait for 40 seconds Slowly pour the remaining 160 ml in 3-4 stages Remove filter, serve, enjoy Contents are nitrogen flushed Storage Cool, dry, sealed Best before 28-09-2026 DRIP BAGS vs BREW BAGS Drip bags function like a miniature pour over. The filter hangs over your cup and you pour hot water through the coffee, which results in a cleaner and brighter profile with higher clarity and more defined acidity. If you want a cup that resembles a pour over brew without bringing any equipment, this is the closest you will get. Brew bags work through full immersion, similar to steeping tea. The coffee sits in the water and extracts slowly, creating a softer, rounder cup with more body, a gentler acidity and some solids on the bottom of your cup. It is the simplest and most forgiving option, ideal for travel or anywhere where convenience matters most. In short, drip bags deliver structure and clarity, while brew bags offer roundness and ease.
