Cafelino Santa Elena [Catuai Bliss]
Tasting Notes
Description
Cafelino is a family business located in Boquete, in the mountains of Chiriquí. Specializing in sustainable specialty coffee, it combines tradition, innovation, and respect for nature to offer exceptional coffee. At the heart of the operation is Finca Santa Elena, perched between 1,250 and 1,530 meters above sea level. Thanks to its unique volcanic soil and careful production methods, Santa Elena produces coffees renowned for their rich aroma and exceptional quality. This Catuai benefits from a unique treatment: an 84-hour whole cherry fermentation in sealed tanks, followed by partial depulping to achieve a "semi-washed" profile. This process gives it a silky texture, as well as fruity aromas and beautiful clarity. In the cup, it offers a harmonious balance between freshness, sweetness, and complexity, revealing an elegant, clean, and fragrant coffee. An ideal lot for lovers of refined terroir coffees.
