We visited Mario and his team last year, cupping in their lab overlooking the slopes and the valley beyond. As we walked the farm - the coffee trees blossoming, the aroma strong in the air - Mario spoke passionately about varietals, processing, and his standard for picking only the ripest “Ferrari red” cherries. Mil Cumbres has earned recognition on the world stage, with multiple placements in Best of Panama - a reflection of both the unique growing conditions and the care behind every step of production. This year, we’re excited to share two lots from Mil Cumbres - one washed, one natural. This natural lot (NS 31-10-24 Jima) has flavour notes in the cup of orange blossom florality, gooseberry, and apple .
