<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Wako Jegso owns a coffee farm in Halo Bariti kebele in Ethiopia’s Yirgacheffe region. He inherited the farm from his father and now carries on the tradition, growing coffee and fruit trees alongside his eighteen children.</p> <p>For many years, Wako sold his coffee cherries to local processing stations for minimal returns. Now, with better support systems and improved market access, he has finally been able to realise the full potential of his land for producing exceptional coffee, and in turn secure a fair price for their labour.</p> <p>This lot is a prime example of the rich coffee heritage of Yirgacheffe, offering a cup that is both vibrant and complex, with a light body and delightfully bright acidity.</p>
