Kamunyaka Coffee Factory, part of the New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society, is nestled in Kenya’s Central Highlands. At 1,700 to 1,900 metres, it serves over 800 smallholder farmers cultivating SL28 and SL34 varieties. Generational farming is key here, with land passed down since the 1950s. The factory offers shared processing infrastructure, ensuring high-quality coffee with blackcurrant, citrus, and floral notes. Recognised at the Nairobi Coffee Exchange, Kamunyaka’s coffees attract specialty buyers for their clarity and consistency, preserving Kenya’s coffee legacy for future generations.
