Finca El Porvenir, managed by Camilo Segura and Cecilia Almonacid in Palestina, Huila, Colombia, is a coffee farm situated at 1,600–1,800 meters above sea level. The farm specializes in the rare and sought-after Geisha variety, celebrated for its complex and delicate flavor profile. Covering a modest area, the farm focuses on quality over quantity, employing meticulous cultivation and processing techniques to produce specialty coffee that stands out in the global market. Camilo and Cecilia’s dedication extends to a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability, including shade-grown cultivation and minimal environmental impact. Only the ripest cherries are hand-picked, sorted rigorously to ensure uniformity, and then dried on raised African beds.
