Project-Based Geisha Born from Two Families in Western Panama Auromar Farm is a unique project created in 2006 through the collaboration of two families — the Brenes family, who manage the farm, and the Eleta family, who operate the mill. Their mission is to produce exceptional Geisha coffee, support the livelihood and education of farm workers, and minimize environmental impact. Their commitment has gained worldwide recognition, including first place at the prestigious Best of Panama competition in 2013. Harnessing Nature Through a Carefully Designed Microclimate Tall avocado trees are intentionally planted throughout the farm. They provide shade while allowing airflow, helping to regulate day–night temperature and create a stable microclimate. Although the area receives a high annual rainfall of around 3,500mm, this humid environment enhances the aromatic qualities of Geisha, contributing to the coffee’s complex and layered profile. Precision Natural Processing Using Only Fully Ripe Cherries Harvest takes place from late December to early March. Only perfectly ripe cherries are handpicked and then re-sorted after harvest. Cherries from selected plots within 800 meters of the drying area are used and dried on African beds for 20–30 days. By focusing on cherries from the peak of the harvest season, the farm achieves remarkable sweetness and flavor depth. The cup opens with a rich burst of Shine Muscat and nectarine, then evolves into the sweet and tart nuances of cranberry and passion fruit. It finishes with a clear, rosé wine–like elegance and a syrupy sweetness that gently lingers. This coffee offers remarkable depth with multiple layers of flavor that unfold as you drink. From the first sip to the last, the profile continues to evolve, creating a beautifully dynamic tasting experience. We ship coffee beans within 7 days of roasting.
