Grown in the high-elevation wild forests behind the home of producer Alemayehu Bereno Tero (2150–2250m), this lot reflects a landscape that has never been chemically treated or cultivated in a conventional way. The forest canopy creates cool airflow and shaded ripening, allowing cherries to develop concentrated sweetness and aromatic depth. Only deep-red cherries are harvested before undergoing slow, traditional African-bed drying — a process entirely shaped by the rhythm of the surrounding forest. The result is a natural with vivid fruit, soft florals and a sweetness that feels unmistakably “forest-grown.”
