Ethiopia Buku Hurufa TOH Natural 1st – Champion Lot

Roasted by KillBean, GB

Tasting Notes

Description

Winner of the 2025 TOH Natural Category. This high-altitude Guji coffee (2200m) was cultivated by over 550 smallholder farmers and processed with precision and care. Shade-dried on raised beds for 18 days, with frequent hand-turning to ensure even drying and maximum clarity. “Buku” means “dust” in the local language – a name born from the clouds of soil stirred by cattle along the salt routes to Lake Abaya, a memory preserved in this land.
