Tasting Notes
Description
Cup profile: pomegranate, black tea, floral, lime, medium body, juicy Key Facts: Caranavi region Variety: Geisha washed, 1650-1700 m About the coffee: It is rare, but sometimes we do manage to get our hands on one of these wonderful Bolivian Geishas - perhaps not particularly well known, but highly appreciated by fans. This lot has everything we expect from a coffee from our Specials range: it is elegant, floral and juicy. A delight for all lovers of classic processing methods! Between 1650 and 1700 meters above sea level, the Rodriguez family creates an ideal environment on their farm for the geisha plants, which grow here between untouched forests and banana groves. In addition to this farm, the family also runs 11 other farms (which sounds like a lot at first, but the individual locations are of a smaller size), where they cultivate coffee according to modern agricultural standards in the greatest possible harmony with nature. Their work has also been recognised with the SCA Sustainability Award.
