Farmers deliver their ripe coffee cherry to the factory where the cherry is then hand sorted, depulped, fermented overnight, and laid out on raised beds to dry where it is then hand sorted again for defects. Kamagogo works with local farmers by providing education on good agricultural practices, providing access to inputs to improve growing practices, and offering pre-financing options. This particular lot of coffee was isolated out as a top lot for its exceptional flavor, acidity, and body.
