This is our first year buying coffee from Pompeyo and his daughter Lorena, who grow Gesha in the buffer zone of the Sierra de las Minas Biosphere Reserve. Their farm, Kalibus La Sierra, sits at 1800 masl within the largest cloud forest in Mesoamerica, where mist, shade trees and natural springs create ideal conditions for slow ripening and exceptional complexity.
