Bombe Washed - Ethiopia
Tasting Notes
Description
Why you might like it When we talk about Ethiopia, this is the coffee that reflects this wonderful land! To begin, great floral notes reminiscent of jasmine… then comes an initial acidity that recalls bergamot and, immediately after, a clear note of citric acidity. At this point, the evolution turns towards sweetness, with elegant and clean notes dictated by floral and fruity flavors. And the sweetness? We have defined it as illegal: impressive and evident notes of blackcurrant and blackberry, to say the least. So let yourself be guided by emotions: try sipping this coffee with your eyes closed and… the color purple will appear in your imagination! Oh my goodness! If you still haven't understood what Specialty means, this coffee opens up a crazy and incredible world for you, which will allow you to understand the different sensory journey you are about to undertake. Finally, a finish characterized by a slight, decidedly pleasant note of violet candy. Regarding the body in the cup: medium/low body and, as we always say, remember that body is not an indicator of quality. In other words, Ethiopia Washed fully reflects the characteristics it should have. If you ask me what my favorite types of coffee are at this point in my life, I tell you: Bombe Washed! Falling more and more in love, deep in my soul, forever you… to taste: Maurizio Valli's word.
